YMC visits Rock and Rail

We have been for a look around the venues for the forthcoming Rock and Rail Festival that will be taking place on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway from 10 - 12 June. This is a truly unique festival with three stages, one is on a station platform, one in a carriage and one in a train shed! Its probably the first time there has been a rock festival on a steam railway.


TRAIN STAGE




This is the Jubilee carriage where the acoustic sets will be taking place over the 3 days. There is also a bar.

OXENHOPE TRAIN SHED - MAIN VENUE




This is the site of the main venue, the stage will be where the black engine is just now, all trains will be removed and the floor will be covered ready for the weekend event.




This is a huge venue, and will be equipped with a bar too.
