Bingley Music Live (Press Release)

The final pieces fall into place as BML announces
special guests White Lies

The last remaining parts of the musical jigsaw have slotted in and we now have a virtually complete picture of this year’s Bingley Music Live line up! Our special guests appearing on Sunday night are the outstanding White Lies; they’re also joined by hot newcomersClement Marfo and the Frontline.

There’s a diverse array of extraordinary talent appearing in MyrtlePark from 31st August to 2nd September. To ensure you get to see your favourite bands we’re releasing a limited number of advance day tickets for the event. Entry on Friday is £17.50 (+ booking fee) and tickets for Saturday or Sunday cost £30 (+ booking fee). Advance day tickets are now on sale but hurry there’s limited availability!

Since springing onto the music scene in 2008 to universal acclaim and numerous 'one-to-watch' accolades White Lies have gone on to surpass all expectations. Their debut albumTo Lose My Life entered the UK chart at number 1 and they've built an impressive reputation around the globe for their euphoric, uplifting, indie anthems. Followed by 2010's mature, full-bodied tech-rock sequel Rituals the three-piece from West London have developed into a tightly knit, focused and imaginative force. With an 18 month world tour and numerous international festival appearances under their belts you can expect a knock out live performance at Bingley.

Sunday also welcomes Clement Marfo and the Frontline to the Main Stage. Nominated for MTV's 'Brand New for 2012' award; the exuberant, lyrical skills of South London rapper Clement are set to take the UK by storm. The release of the appropriate (and timely) titled single 'Champion' is a motivational rallying call that exudes an energetic and irrepressible enthusiasm. With its hyper-catchy hook, it’s a track that’s destined to feature throughout the Olympic highlights this summer. The seven members that make up The Frontline bring a vibrant fusion of musical genres to the mix; creating a unified sound of the city street and presenting a unique urban vibe with an inspirational perspective. Be prepared for a full scale attack from this upbeat army - they're sure to be victorious.
